Initial meeting (60 minutes): During this time, we discuss your food, social, and medical history. We talk about your past diet experiences - what worked and what failed. We ask about your favorite and least favorite foods in an attempt to design an enjoyable plan. We provide education based on your underlying medical condition and/or goals, plan a menu and set up to 3-5 goals for you to focus on until you return.
Follow-up Session: The dietitian determines the frequency and duration of the follow-up appointments during your session. Packages are also available. Most people prefer weekly sessions at first and then every two weeks for 30 - 45 minutes session. However, "every body" is different and follow up sessions are indivdualized as needed. Follow up sessions are used to review your progress, questions, and obstacles.
